  • Appearance: Bright orange, smooth skin with a round, plump, or slightly acorn-like shape. 
  • Texture: Smooth and jelly-like or custard-like when fully ripe; can often be eaten by scooping the soft flesh out with a spoon. 
  • Flavor: Rich, mellow, and naturally sweet with a distinct honey-like profile, sometimes featuring subtle warm notes of apricot or brown sugar. 
  • Nutritional Value: High in dietary fiber, beta-carotene (provitamin A), and vitamins A and C.
